MEET AMY
Hi, I'm Amy.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Ever since I was a kid, I was bringing home injured or stray animals to care for. Growing up surrounded by animals taught me compassion, responsibility, and the joy of giving back to the creatures who give us so much.
Im a huge believer in adoption. My two amazing dogs, Ava and Nacho, are both rescues and truly my world. Over the years Ive also fostered dogs and helped many find loving forever home- something that continues to be incredibly rewarding.
In 2010 I turned my lifelong passion into Throw Me A Bone, a positive reinforcement-based dog daycare business built on trust, kindness, and adventure.
I'm fully licensed and insured, and I only use only gentle, science- backed methods to help every dog feel safe, confident, and excited for each day we spend together.
Around here, little dogs get to live big adventures while always feeling safe, loved, and understood.
Whether we're exploring trails, playing with friends, or just enjoying the outdoors, my goal is simple: to treat every dog like they're one of my own.

I also use compostable waste bags and make thoughtful choices that help protect the beautiful trails and open spaces we explore together.

With over 15 years of experience, I naturally reinforce good manners, confidence, and basic obedience throughout the day using gentle, science-backed positive reinforcement methods.
